Antonette DuPree is a graduate of UMKC School of Law. Ms. DuPree’s first position out of law school was shadowing two women pioneers in litigation, Lynne Bratcher and Marie Gockel. They specialized in and trained Ms. DuPree in the areas of employment discrimination, civil rights, and personal injury litigation. Ms. DuPree continues to represent clients in civil and business litigation matters and contract disputes. Later in her career she helped found and manage two different law practices, it was during her first business venture with Spark! Legal Solutions, LLP beginning in 2019, that she first learned about the probate process and administration, probate litigation, and estate plan drafting.

Ms. DuPree appreciates the delicate nature of this work and strives to put clients at ease with a comprehensive, but compassionate approach to problem solving, asset management and protection strategies.

She has authored articles and training materials on individual constitutional rights, diversity and inclusion, and she has presented those materials to both colleagues and the public. She provides excellent educational content to her viewership through social media posts aimed at informing her potential client base.

Within the legal community, she is known for her commitment to the values of the profession, her courtesy and professionalism, and her sweet, approachable nature. Ms. DuPree has been honored to have been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star for both 2025 and 2026.

On a more personal note, Ms. DuPree resides in the greater Kansas City area with her husband, Joshua DuPree, a veteran Missouri Farm Bureau Agent in Independence, her two daughters, Charlotte 16 and Sutton 12, and their two Shih Tzus’ Herb and Merl. Ms. DuPree loves spending time with her family and friends, cooking the favorites of her Nonnie’s old Italian recipes, traveling, and shopping when not in the office – and she very much values taking care of herself by eating healthy and regularly working out.
